Pastel is such a versatile medium but also, unfortunately, a bit misunderstood.

It offers an artist the freedom to explore its use in many

methodologies and with a variety of materials.

The feel of a soft pastel on a new paper or board is just plain fun

(and experimental and risky at times, too!)

Whether on suede, velour or sanded paper, pastels react to various surfaces

in unique ways that offer results not seen with other artistic media.

OF IMPORTANCE: I release a selection of my original works as prints (canvas wrapped, fine art paper mounted, or metal prints). If there is an original that you would like as a print, please contact me for price, size and availability. Note: Due to the personal and unique nature of commissions, prints are not made from those pieces. Most others, whether sold or not, can be made available.
